Hi there...I am hoping you are from Germantown Ny and that Helen and John were your Gram and Gramp. This is Becky (Aunt Ida and Uncle Philip's granddaughter). Just happened to be reading something about Germantown, thought about you and Nancy, etc. Googled Sam Simmons, Alaska and came up with a Studebaker article...and thought Uncle John always had a Studfebaker. Would love to hear from you...when I saw the photos of the white bard...it made me 99.9% sure that I had the wright person. Hope this finds you well and happy.
